ARTIST STATEMENT

I work with vintage paper and found objects, transforming them into geometric nonobjective collages and assemblages. Whether it is a creased handwritten note, a worn postcard, or a discarded game piece I use original objects that bear traces of human touch.

I arrange these fragments within geometric compositions that provide structure and unity. The geometry brings a sense of order, while the aged materials evoke memory, character, and imperfection. Together, they create a balance between precision and unpredictability.

By bringing overlooked remnants of the past together, I explore how individual stories can become part of something larger. Each fragment retains its own identity yet contributes to a shared whole. My work reflects a belief that our differences, imperfections, and histories can connect us, creating beauty, meaning, and belonging.
